Do you have what it takes to survive?
Survival Weekend is all about experiencing the Finnish nature the proper way. CLINT takes a group of foreign and internationally minded Finnish students to a cottage in the middle of a forest. The grand idea is to survive without some modern comforts like electricity, running water, indoor toilet etc. There`s also a chance to try and survive a night in a tent.
Survival Weekend starts on the 26th and lasts until the 28th of March. The weekend costs 40 euros to the members of the student union Tamko and 45 euros for others. The price includes transportation into the wilderness, meals and accommodation. The sign-up starts on Monday the 8th of March and there are only 50 places for the Survival Weekend so sign up immediately as the sign up opens. Signing up happens at the office of the student union or by sending an email to office@tamko.fi!
The sign up period is between 8th of March and 17th of March.
The bus leaves from the Kuntokatu entrance at 13.30 on Friday. Be there at 13.15 the latest!! The bus won`t wait. We come back on Sunday around 14 o`clock.
If you have a sleeping bag or a hiking mattress, take it with you even if you are not planning to sleep in the tent.
